Lanevia Terms and Rules
A draft of the platform rules. The text must be reviewed by a lawyer before the real launch.
1. General provisions
Lanevia is a platform where swimmers find coaches, keep a training diary, publish results and order services: video analysis, personal plans and online coaching.
The platform connects the swimmer and the coach, but does not provide coaching services itself and is not responsible for their quality — the coach bears the responsibility.
2. Swimmer result verification
Any swim (SCM 25 m, LCM 50 m, SCY 25 yards) can be submitted for confirmation. Attach the official competition protocol (file) or a link to an official results database.
Application statuses: “not sent”, “under review”, “confirmed”, “changes needed”. With “changes needed” the reason is given and the application can be resubmitted.
Only results from official competitions with electronic or protocol timing are confirmed. Self-measured times are published without a confirmation mark.
Fake or edited protocols lead to rejection of the application and possible account suspension.
3. Coach qualification verification
Coach verification is a separate process, unrelated to swimmer result verification. The coach describes their experience and attaches supporting documents: diplomas, certificates, federation licenses.
After successful verification, a “Qualification confirmed” badge appears in the coach's profile. The absence of the badge does not prohibit coaching, but is shown in the profile.
Verification is performed manually by the platform team; review takes up to 5 business days (demonstrational in the prototype).
4. Services, payment and commission
The coach creates a service offer inside the chat: title, description, price and currency, deadline, scope of work and number of included revisions.
The platform withholds a commission from the coach's amount. The demo rate is 2.5%; it is not final and may change before launch.
Payments are not processed in the prototype. After launch, payments will go through a secure payment system; disputes are resolved via support.
5. Communication rules
Respect other members. Insults, discrimination, spam, publishing others' personal data and fraud are prohibited.
Violations can be reported via the chat menu; a user can be blocked. Repeated violations lead to account restrictions.
Technique analysis is performed by a human coach. Automatic AI technique analysis is not provided by the platform.
6. Diary and privacy
Diary entries are visible only to the owner or to coaches chosen by them — access is configured by the owner.
In the demo version, data is stored only in your browser and is not shared with other users.
